Translations,
both certified and non-certified
Akzent provides translations in many languages, both
certified and non-certified. A non-certified translation
is generally sent via e-mail. A certified translation
is sent afterwards by (registered) mail.
If a statement of the translator is attached to the
translation, the translation is certified. This statement
lists the first and last name of the translator and
the Court where the translator was sworn in. In addition
every page of the translation is initialled and stamped.
Akzent gives a finishing touch to the certified translation
that is fraud-proof. This means: point of attachment
sealed at the front and back by a sticker and stamp
and a sticker and stamp between the translation and
the original document. On the source text we often also
place a stamp.
Proof-reading and correcting of provided translations
Are you experienced enough in translating and is your
work of sufficient quality? In such cases, just having
the work proof-read and corrected is a good alternative.
You will always receive a ‘rough version’
and a final version. This way you will be able to see
what we have corrected.
Copywriting
Do you want to have a text written in a foreign language?
In this case the translator is given more freedom, which
means that the translation is actually copywriting.
With copywriting we discuss the work with you and the
translator/ editor until the desired results have been
reached. Suitable for commercials, marketing, promotions,
literary productions, etc.

Certified copies
We advise you not to hand out a single, original document
to be translated. It is preferabe to have a certified
copy made of it. You can get this done at City Hall
or at a Notary Public. Akzent can also take care of
this for you.
Interpretation services for Notary Publics, attorneys
and congresses
Our interpreters work (nationally) for notaries and
other organisations. We always try to limit travel time
and travel costs. An interpreter for Akzent is preferably
sent to an assignment in his own area. Regarding this
