| In 1998 Akzent
Interpreters and Certified Translators was founded by
Michel Hendriks, a German translator. He successfully
completed his translation education at the Hogeschool
West-Nederland (University West-Nederland) in Utrecht.
His original focus was on translations to and from
German. However, it soon became evident that there was
also a lot of demand for other languages. At the end
of 1998 Akzent went ‘allround’. A select
group of interpreters and translators starting working
for our office more than ten years ago and most of these
language experts still work for us today. Slowly but
surely, the regular group is expanding. This is done
on the basis of experience, education, profile and effort.
In addition to the translators ‘of first choice’,
many translators are available through existing networks.
Depending on your requirements and the available budget,
we will match your requirements with our possibilities.
Akzent’s motto is “noblesse oblige”.
In other words, a good translation does not have to
be expensive. In fact, we believe it pays to have it
done right. Furthermore, Akzent always strives for an
optimum price/performance.
The office has focused mainly on notarial, legal and
government work as well as private business over the
past years. In addition to this there are numerous fields
where our translators are expert. For example IT, engineering,
agriculture, energy technology, import and export, education,
zoos, marketing, etc. etc.

Word, rtf or possibly pdf.
